Outreach Programs for Seniors

Our programs in senior homes bring creativity and connection to residents of assisted living facilities. It has been demonstrated that interactive art experiences can be powerful tools for keeping older minds active, providing mental stimulation and fostering new relationships through creative exploration. Through hands-on projects and discussion of artworks from our professional traveling art collection, our senior outreach programs support mental well-being and creative community-building for everyone we serve.

Our current senior outreach programs include:

• Making for Memory: 8-week workshop exploring themes of memory and reflection

• Hats Off to Art: 6-week creativity workshop using a variety of welcoming materials

• The Spirit of Art: 1–3 day program with discussion of work from our traveling art collection
